2010 Alabama Gourd Show: October 16 & 17, 2010
THEME: Barn Full of Gourds
Location: Cullman Civic Center. Cullman, Alabama Direction: From I-65 take exit #308, Highway 278 east into Cullman. Turn right at Main Avenue. Go one or two blocks and turn left at the Post Office. Civic Center is on the right, at 504 Fifth Street S. W.
Admission: $3.00 for Adults and free for children 12 and under, when accompanied by an adult.
Show Hours: Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Shop the beautiful vendor booths featuring amazing arts & crafts made from gourds, tour the ribbon competition exhibit hall, take a gourd art crafting class to make your very own handcrafted gourd, and watch artists do free demonstrations of their crafts. There will be door prize drawings throughout the day. There is also a dinner on Saturday night where gourds and other items are auctioned off. This is always lots of fun!! Dinner reservation form will be found at the bottom of the vendor application..

Ribbon Competition: CLICK HERE The ribbon competition is open to anyone and there is no cost to exhibit a gourd in competition. Exhibits may be brought in on Friday, October 15th from 12 to 6 PM or on Saturday, October 16th from 7-7:30 AM. Please note that if you wait until Saturday morning with several entries, you may not have time to complete. Judging begins promptly at 8 AM
Volunteer Information: It is never to early to volunteer. If you would like to volunteer some of your time to help with the Festival (Setting up, monitoring the ribbon competition area, helping with the ALGS booth, helping with Admissions, or other activities) Please let us know.
